Question:
Like you I knew *exactly* the RV that I wanted. I had mine specific right to the year, brand, length and floor plan.
Bullshit. If you’d known "exactly" why did you buy other rv’s before your present rig? Your track record with husbands is even worse. Will Sill

Hi Buff, We have had a 24′ class C for about 5 years now. It seems like the Class C rigs come from 20′ to just over 30′ or so. I think 24′ is a pretty popular size but after looking at them for a while at big shows, I think about 26′ is a very practical size for a Class C motorhome. I think no matter what you have, you will be towing something. My wife likes the fact that with a motorhome, she can get up and go to the bathroom any time she wants. What ever you do, don’t short change your self if you have been waiting for years for this. Buying used could be good if you get something very clean that is less than 5 years old. Then if it is not right, you don’t loose too much to move to another rig. Also be real sure that you have the freedom/time to actually use an RV. Sad, but I watched my neighbor let a class A sit for about 20 years and then when he retired, he sold it. Some options are an air conditioner, awning, hydraulic levelers, microwave, TV, generator……. The biggest deal can be storage. Many smaller class C rigs have very little storage. Later this can be a big problem. — Bill Kiene Kiene’s Fly Shop Sacramento, CA www.kiene.com
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Help needed in choosing Class C My wife and I have been retired for several years and feel we’d like to resume camping. But instead of buying another 19-foot trailer, we believe the Class C motor home would easily satisfy our simplist needs — those being: * less than 2 years old * 21′ – 24′ * separate bedroom (w/ walk around bed) Obviously there are other features that are less important (such as full tub, 3-burner stove & microwave, and lots of windows). But at this early point, we would welcome any personal recommendations re specific models or web sites. (or even cautions) MANY THANKS !!!
