International Hitch-hiking Conference There will be The International Hitch-hiking Conference in Vilnius (Lithuania) in 6-7 March. I send you the general information about the conference. You may find more information about this event in http://puni.osf.lt/~vhhc/ihhc INTRODUCTION The third International Hitch-Hiking Conference will be held on March 6-7, 1999 in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. This event, organized by Vilnius Hitch-Hiking Club together with The Road Brothers association from Kaunas (Lithuania), will see participants from the biggest European hitch-hiking clubs as well as editors of the most popular English, Russian, Lithuanian and Polish hitch-hiking websites and "independent" hitch-hikers from the whole Europe. During the conference hitch-hikers will discuss various issues in first day’s seminars, and on the second day experienced travelers will read the lectures about nearly everything you can connect with hitch-hiking. PARTICIPANTS The International Hicth-Hiking Conference will be attended by travelers from more than six countries. Most of them will represent one of the nine invited hitch-hiking clubs from Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine. In addition, maintainers of the most popular webpages in English, Lithuanian, Russian and Polish are also expected to take part in the conference.
